Homstead Grays
Since we started our must have fitted collection (Here), we've been slacking on our Fitted of the Week. Also since were going straight MLB for the collection were switching it up this week and going with a Negro League hat. The Grays were from Homestead, PA and were around for about 40 years. The Homestead Grays were the team of the Negro Leagues at one point winning 9 straight championships (10 total), and 3 World Series Titles (played in 7), so basically the Yankees of the Negro Leagues. You'll probably recognize this hat because just about every year a team in The Bigs will rock Gray's hats and uni's for a throwback day. This hat is also pretty big in the hip hop community by I'm sure you have seen it worn by your favorite emcee or in a music video at one point. The hat is flat out legit and if you weren't familiar with the Grays now you are so go buy this cap, then go impress someone.
