We first heard of MeLo-X last year through one of the better mix tape blogs out there, getrightmusic.com. MeLo-X is another Brooklyn emcee in the game killing it right now. His most recent mix tape More Merch can not really be compared to most of the music being put out. His style is basically anything he wants it to be and on his tape he goes hip hop to reggae which is sick as is but he also mixes things up often with some soul, electronics along with some classical tunes. Ya like I said he really cant be compared but don't let his style and production scare you away hes without a doubt work a listen. The mix tape features some serious up and comers in Kendrick Lamar and Mickey Factz.
