Eminem - "Syllables"
Featuring Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Stat Quo, & Cashis
Eminem's newest release of singles certainly created a buzz this week in the hip hop world. "Syllables" has received some early praise from fellow emcees, including Talib Kweli. Kweli posted earlier in the week about the latest release from Shady camp on his twitter saying "Eminems hook on Syllables- genius". It seems that Em and the rest of the leaders of the hip hop industry featured on this single have a lot to say about the way hip hop is made. The claim is that hip hop has become too much about making money and not enough about the quality of music, especially the lyrics. They certainly give you something to think about.
